About the role

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager – Growth to join our Product team in Sydney.

The Product team sits at the centre of Stake’s growth. We bring together customer insight, commercial thinking and deep collaboration to shape the future of our investing platform. As we expand across products, markets and customer segments, we’re building an ecosystem of services that helps ambitious Australians take greater control of their financial progress.

In this role, you'll own the business case and the systems (attribution, lifecycle journeys, rewards and experimentation frameworks) that power growth end-to-end, and build the capability of Marketing, Product, Data and Engineering to use them well. You frame the right problems in an ambiguous, cross-functional domain, make high-quality trade-off calls without waiting for certainty, and evaluate partner capability against domain strategy.

You'll partner with Heads of Function and POs on domain trade-offs and sequencing, mentor junior PMs, and bring senior stakeholders across Risk, Legal, Ops and Finance along without formal authority. This role anchors the growth domain within the Marketing pillar and is chartered to help meet Stake's FY27 customer acquisition and growth investment goals.

What success looks like
  • Sets domain direction grounded in customer, commercial, regulatory and technical reality, and makes high-quality decisions under ambiguity
  • Builds scalable, configurable, observable growth systems rather than one-off campaigns and can re-base a struggling growth area by returning to the real customer proposition
  • Connects acquisition channels to in-product behaviour and revenue outcomes, and knows which leading indicators actually move the lagging result
  • Leads structured, cross-functional discovery and experimentation, and learns systematically rather than over-engineering certainty
  • Influences senior stakeholders; including Heads of Function, POs and partners across Risk, Legal, Ops and Finance, without formal authority
  • Evaluates partner capability against domain strategy and designs controls and resilience into trust-critical systems
  • Mentors junior PMs and stakeholders, and protects domain clarity as the growth system scales
  • Is trusted to ship high-quality systems with minimal oversight, and owns the business case and metrics tree end-to-end
You’ll thrive here if…
  • You've demonstrated ability to set strategy and make high-quality trade-off decisions under ambiguity, and to lead complex cross-functional programs to a measurable outcomes
  • You have a strong track record of improving measurable growth metrics (activation, engagement, retention, revenue) at a domain or system level
  • You possess deep analytical capability across funnels, attribution and experimentation, with experience designing and reading a metrics tree that connects inputs to commercial outcomes
  • You have experience with attribution models, journey orchestration and experimentation frameworks; comfortable evaluating partner and vendor capability against strategy
  • You have experience partnering with and influencing senior stakeholders (Heads of Function, POs, Risk/Legal/Finance) without formal authority
  • You have experience operating in a regulated, trust-critical or financial services environment highly regarded
