At Versent, as a Senior ServiceNow Technical Consultant, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of complex ServiceNow solutions, leveraging NextGen platform advancements to drive strategic customer outcomes. You will stay ahead of technology innovations and ServiceNow releases, mentor team members, shape innovative workflows, and foster a collaborative, high-performing environment while delivering transformative projects.
Must be an Australian citizen with security clearance and currently residing in Australia Preferably in Canberra or Sydney .
Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver advanced ServiceNow solutions using Agentic AI, AI Control Tower, and enhanced AI search to align customer objectives with technical configurations.
Lead implementation and optimisation of ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, and GRC modules with AI-driven automation and low-code workflows.
Maintain CMDB integrity per CSDM standards, leveraging Yokohama’s data console for real-time governance.
Build complex integrations via REST APIs, Integration Hub, and Workflow Data Fabric to connect AI models and third-party systems.
Engage stakeholders to deliver impactful, future-ready solutions while mentoring consultants in AI, low-code, and new ServiceNow capabilities.
Contribute to Versent’s ServiceNow practice through service innovation, process optimisation, and thought leadership on AI-driven workflows.
What We’re Expecting from You
7+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience, including advanced implementations in ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, or GRC, with proficiency in releases and features.
Deep expertise in CMDB management, CSDM frameworks, and new features (e.g., Yokohama’s data management console for optimised data governance).
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), and at least two Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications (e.g., CIS-ITSM, CIS-ITOM, CIS-Discovery) required; AI-related certifications and micro-certifications are a plus.
Proficiency in front-end development (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS) and ServiceNow scripting (e.g., GlideAPI, Business Rules) for custom and low-code solutions.
Extensive experience with ServiceNow integrations, including REST APIs, Scripted REST APIs, Integration Hub, and Workflow Data Network, with a focus on AI and IoT connectivity.
Familiarity with emerging ServiceNow capabilities (e.g., AI Control Tower, Security and Risk AI agents, industry-specific workflows) and trends like sustainable IT and data security.
