Your Team
Reporting directly to the Design System Lead, this role will sit within the Auro Design system team and work alongside peers in Product Design, Product Management, and Technology.
Your Responsibilities
Evolve the enterprise Design System to ensure consistency, scalability, and accessibility across all customer-facing platforms
Design and maintain reusable UI components, patterns, and design tokens for multi-platform use
Contribute to Design System governance and support adoption across designers and developers
Work at both a strategic and hands-on level, designing system components and improving patterns to enable high-quality delivery at scale
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure high-quality implementation and alignment between design intent and code
Create and maintain clear, concise documentation for components, usage, and system guidelines
Leverage advanced Figma capabilities including libraries, variables, auto layout, and interactive components to improve workflows and system integrity
Your Capability and Experience
Deep expertise in UI design principles including typography, layout, hierarchy, colour, spacing, and responsive design
Proven experience building and scaling design systems in complex or enterprise environments
Advanced proficiency in Figma and modern design tools
Experience structuring design systems in a way that supports scalability, automation, or AI-assisted workflows
Strong understanding of design-to-development workflows and front-end considerations
Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
Knowledge of accessibility standards including WCAG
Experience in Financial Services including Wealth or Superannuation is desirable but not essential
Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
