About the Team

At Resmed, innovation drives our mission to improve lives through connected devices and digital health solutions. Our Global User Experience team is a multidisciplinary group of designers, researchers, content strategists, and service designers shaping how patients, providers, and partners experience our ecosystem. We partner closely with Product, Engineering, Delivery, and CX peers to deliver accessible, consistent, and measurable experiences across complex workflows and data-heavy interfaces.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior UX Designer to lead product UX/UI for enterprise medical software. This role focuses on clarity, efficiency, and confidence in complex workflows. You will work in an environment with evolving requirements, global collaboration across time zones, and regulated stakeholder constraints. You will translate insights into shippable designs, align cross-functional partners, and ensure solutions are feasible within front-end and design system realities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead UX/UI from problem framing through delivery for assigned product areas, including discovery, concepting, validation, and iteration.

  • Design and improve data-dense workflows such as tables, lists, search, filtering, sorting, bulk actions, empty states, and error handling.

  • Translate user research, support insights, and product data into clear interaction models, information architecture, and prioritized design decisions.

  • Partner closely with engineering in refinement and delivery, interpreting front-end constraints and anticipating downstream implications.

  • Create scalable UX/UI artifacts including flows, wireframes, prototypes, and detailed interaction specifications that reduce ambiguity and rework.

  • Drive alignment across Product, Engineering, Research, and Content through workshops, design reviews, and decision documentation.

  • Ensure design quality and consistency through strong use of the design system and support system evolution or migration to avoid fragmented experiences.

  • Incorporate accessibility into interaction design and collaborate with engineering to ensure implementation meets accessibility expectations.

  • Navigate and influence complex stakeholder environments, including compliance, legal, privacy, and security, to unblock research and delivery when needed.

  • Mentor and raise the bar through critique, pattern sharing, and pragmatic coaching.

  • Use AI tools in real time to accelerate ideation, prototyping, and synthesis while maintaining high-quality UX judgment and documentation.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience designing digital products, with demonstrated delivery in complex systems (enterprise, SaaS, or workflow-heavy software).

  • Strong portfolio showing end-to-end UX work, including how you framed problems, made tradeoffs, influenced stakeholders, and shipped outcomes.

  • Deep skill in interaction design, information architecture, and prototyping for complex scenarios (not just marketing pages).

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, including confidence working with engineering on feasibility and component behavior.

  • Proven ability to operate in ambiguity, manage priorities independently, and deliver across distributed teams and time zones.

  • Practical experience designing accessible experiences and partnering with engineering to implement them.

  • Proficiency with modern design tools (Figma and prototyping workflows).

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in regulated environments such as healthcare, medical devices, or privacy-sensitive products.

  • Experience supporting design systems or migrating between component libraries.

  • Experience designing complex search and navigation patterns for large datasets.

  • Familiarity with experimentation, measurement, and iterative delivery practices.

  • Technical thinking skills and comfort collaborating with developers on front-end constraints, APIs, and component behavior.
