Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Consultant with strong hands-on development expertise across enterprise ServiceNow environments. This role is suited to a technical specialist with deep platform knowledge, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and experience delivering scalable ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, CSM, and CMDB modules.
The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end ServiceNow development, configuration, integrations, platform optimisation, and release activities while working closely with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, test, and deploy ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, CSM, CMDB, Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management modules
- Develop server-side and client-side scripting using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and Script Includes
- Build and manage integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Servers, JDBC, and ETL tools
- Support platform upgrades, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and platform optimisation activities
- Maintain CMDB health, Discovery patterns, and integration reliability across enterprise systems
- Apply ServiceNow best practices including NowCreate, Health Scan, ATF, and Business Smart customisation principles
- Facilitate workshops and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Produce technical documentation including solution designs, integration documents, and implementation runbooks
- Participate in Agile delivery practices including sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives
- Contribute to automation, continuous improvement, and platform governance initiatives
- 7+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience within enterprise environments
- Strong expertise across ITSM, CSM, and CMDB modules
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, AngularJS, REST APIs, and Glide scripting
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations, platform upgrades, performance tuning, and workflow automation
- Strong understanding of ITIL, SDLC, Agile, and DevOps practices
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and workshop facilitation skills
- Experience working across cross-functional teams in complex enterprise environments
