The Honeywell Software Centre develops state of the art networked building automation and digital video surveillance solutions that run on Microsoft platforms. Recognised as a leader in the development of innovative and quality software we use the latest development methodologies and tools and maintain a strong ongoing commitment to Quality Systems.
You will be part of a team of software engineers responsible for the development of Honeywell’s Building Products. These products are exported worldwide through Honeywell’s global businesses
Responsibilities- Perform software engineering tasks to develop product enhancements to Honeywell's market leading solutions for buildings
- Agile Development techniques such as Scrum
- Provide responsive design center customer support for software solutions developed
- Work with team members to find best practice solutions for software and processes
- Coaching and helping develop other team members
Essential:
* Experience delivering high quality web-based solutions, using modern tools and techniques, including:
* Service hosting in On-Premise and Microsoft Azure/any other cloud platform
* Experience with Agile development and automated unit/integration testing
* Experience with React / React Native (for Windows)
* Experience with C#
* Experience with Typescript / JavaScript
* Experience with SQL (specifically SQLite)
Highly Valued:
* Experience with C++
* Experience with Jest testing framework (or other front end testing framework)
* Experience with Desktop UI Test Automation (WinAppDriver)
* Experience with SQL (specifically SQLite)
Valued:
* Experience with MQTT
