A leading bank in Australia is playing an important role in the development and adoption of several emerging Microsoft Frontier solutions. These initiatives involve close collaboration between the bank, Microsoft's account and specialist teams, Product Groups, Engineering, FDE and ISD. As these technologies continue to mature, there is an increasing need for strong coordination across the different teams, workstreams, product requirements, service issues and customer activities. We are seeking a Frontier Program Coordinator to support the bank account and broader Microsoft teams across these initiatives. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is organised, proactive, comfortable working with technology teams and looking to build experience working on some of Microsoft's most strategic emerging solutions. The individual will work under the guidance of senior account, technical and program leaders and help ensure activities are coordinated, issues are tracked, stakeholders remain informed and commitments are followed through.


Responsibilities

Program coordination

  • Support the coordination of multiple Frontier initiatives across the bank and Microsoft.
  • Maintain program plans, milestones, actions, risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Track agreed actions and follow up with owners to help ensure commitments are progressed.
  • Support regular program governance meetings, including preparation of agendas, status updates and action tracking.
  • Help maintain a consolidated view of activity across the Frontier portfolio.

Customer and stakeholder support

  • Coordinate meetings and information flow between the bank, the Microsoft account team, Product Groups, Engineering and specialist teams.
  • Prepare clear and concise status updates for internal and customer stakeholders.
  • Help ensure customer questions, requirements and issues are directed to the appropriate Microsoft teams.
  • Escalate risks or issues to senior team members where additional support or decisions are required.

Engineering and product coordination

  • Assist with documenting and tracking customer requirements and product feedback.
  • Coordinate follow-up with Product Group and Engineering teams on outstanding actions.
  • Track product dependencies, known limitations and engineering issues affecting customer deployments.
  • Help capture learnings from the bank's experience that can be shared with the broader Microsoft teams.

Frontier portfolio support

  • The role will support activities across initiatives including: AI-First Bank Dynamics 365 Contact Center and Copilot Studio Agent 365CoworkGitHubSecurity initiatives, including MDASHOther emerging Frontier initiatives

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Has at least 2 years of experience supporting technology projects, programs, customer engagements or similar complex initiatives.
  • Has strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Can manage and track multiple activities and priorities simultaneously.
  • Communicates clearly and confidently with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Is comfortable working across multiple teams and proactively following up on actions.
  • Can identify when an issue requires escalation to more senior team members.
  • Demonstrates curiosity and an interest in emerging Microsoft technologies and AI.
  • Is comfortable operating in an environment where technologies and requirements can change quickly.
  • Takes ownership of assigned activities and follows them through to completion.
  • Is eager to learn and develop their program management, customer engagement and technology skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in financial services, technology delivery, customer success or project coordination would be beneficial but is not essential.
