Job Description:

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Recruiter, located in New South Wales, Australia. 

The Recruiter plays a critical role in attracting and hiring top talent to support DePuy Synthes’ business growth across the region. This role manages end‑to‑end recruitment activities, partners closely with hiring managers, and delivers a consistent, high‑quality candidate experience. The position offers exposure to diverse roles and stakeholders within a global MedTech organization and the opportunity to directly impact workforce capability and organizational success. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Manage full‑cycle recruiting activities, including requisition intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer preparation, and onboarding coordination. 
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, hiring priorities, and timelines. 
  • Source and engage candidates using multiple channels such as job boards, referrals, internal databases, and social platforms. 
  • Conduct candidate screening and interviews to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit. 
  • Ensure a positive, inclusive, and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process. 
  • Maintain accurate recruiting data and documentation in applicant tracking systems. 
  • Track and report on recruitment metrics to support continuous improvement and transparency. 
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, local labor laws, and data‑privacy requirements. 
  • Utilize recruiting systems, technologies, and digital tools to enable efficient hiring processes, strengthen data quality, and improve hiring manager and candidate experiences. 
  • Leverage recruiting data, market insights, and talent trends to influence decisions, identify opportunities, and support continuous improvement across the hiring process. 
  • Tell a clear talent story by translating data, business needs, and candidate market dynamics into actionable insights and recommendations for hiring managers and HR partners. 
  • Serve as a strategic talent advisor to business and HR stakeholders by providing consultative guidance on hiring strategy, talent availability, and selection approach. 
  • Collaborate across Talent Acquisition, business, and HR teams to align priorities, solve challenges, and deliver hiring outcomes that support business and workforce needs.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.
