What You’ll Be Doing:

As the WHS Coordinator, you’ll take the lead on WHS across your facilities, working closely with the National Safety Team and the facility Executive Team to foster a strong, proactive safety culture.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Embedding and maintaining the Ramsay safety management system, templates, and documentation.
  • Investigating incidents and implementing solutions to minimise future risks.
  • Conducting risk assessments, site audits, and workplace safety training.
  • Developing and maintaining effective safety practices.
  • Preparing and presenting safety performance reports for internal stakeholders.

 

What You’ll Bring:

To succeed in this role, you’ll need

  • Tertiary qualifications in WH&S (Minimum of a Cert IV in WH&S).
  • Experience in Work Health and Safety, preferably within the health industry or a large organisation  
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with teams at all levels.
  • A proactive and highly organised approach to managing multiple priorities.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent planning, time management, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Full Australian work rights, a current Police Check & proof of immunisation against infectious diseases

Additional Information
