Job Opportunity: Plant Administrator – Oxley

Are you an experienced administrator looking to take the next step in your career? CHEP is seeking a skilled Plant Administrator in Oxley to provide vital support and leadership to our Supply Chain Operations team. You’ll supervise two staff members, manage customer-facing responsibilities with drivers, visitors, and contractors, and communicate effectively with team members at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and provide administrative leadership for the Oxley plant.
  • Assist the Service Centre Manager with data analysis for budget management.
  • Coordinate financial information related to plant hire equipment and inventory.
  • Manage staff timesheets and ensure accurate payroll data entry (Kronos).
  • Oversee purchasing of stationery, PPE, and uniforms.
  • Support the safety and environmental management systems.
  • Manage accounts payable and inventory reconciliation.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in administration and some experience supervising a small team.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of safety management systems is a plus.
