About Skip
Skip is a mission-driven Australian home loan lender built to fast-track Aussies into home ownership. We help Australians ‘skip to the owning bit’ with low deposit home loans. Buying a home shouldn’t mean putting life on pause to save a massive deposit while property prices sprint ahead. We’re here to build a fairer, faster path to home ownership, so more people can stop paying their landlord’s mortgage and start paying their own.

We’re backed by leading US venture funds, global credit partners, and prominent Australian investors. We originate low-deposit home loans and are scaling our loan book aggressively, with our loan book being multiples larger than last year. We have major distribution partnerships live, strong credit performance, and expanding product lines - we’re entering a true hyper-growth phase.

We’re a team that moves quickly, obsesses over the customer experience, and backs each other to do the best work of our careers. If you like solving meaningful problems, shipping real change, and taking ownership, you’ll feel at home here.

Mission of the Broker team
The mission of the Broker BDM team is to acquire, activate, and grow high-quality mortgage broker partnerships by positioning Skip as a trusted, go-to low-deposit lending solution. You are responsible for turning new broker relationships into long-term advocates who consistently place loan volume, driving sustainable growth across your territory.

You win by: opening doors, educating with confidence, building trust fast, relentlessly moving deals through the pipeline.

About the role

As a Broker Business Development Manager at Skip, you’ll be the face of Skip to mortgage brokers in the region — helping them understand our product, trust our model, and become long-term advocates sending consistent loan volume our way.

We’re looking for smart, hungry salespeople ready to build something big. You’re a ‘Hunter’. You pride yourself on building new relationships and ringing the bell.

What you do need: a track record of winning, building relationships, and driving growth in fast-paced industries like SaaS, tech, or other high-performance sales environments.

What will you be doing on a day to day basis?

  • Managing and growing your broker pipeline

  • Learning and understanding our credit policy and eligibility criteria back-to-front

  • Pitching and educating brokers on Skip’s low-deposit home loan products.

  • Building meaningful relationships and turning brokers into advocates.

  • Managing Loan Scenarios and pushing deals through the pipeline

  • Representing Skip at industry events and partner sessions.

  • Drive awareness and engagement across your territory — get the word out.

We're looking for someone who is:

  • A proven sales performer with 2–5 years’ experience (B2B, SaaS, tech, or similar).

  • Proven experience winning, activating, and growing broker relationships to generate consistent home loan volume

  • Confident with technology and highly adept with CRM, automation, and sales technology.

  • Curious, ambitious, and confident presenting to people.

  • A natural hunter — loves creating new relationships and closing opportunities.

  • Comfortable owning targets and managing a sales cycle end-to-end.

  • Highly organised with strong CRM discipline.

  • Motivated by uncapped earnings and making a tangible impact.

Why join us?

  • Competitive Rewards - We offer competitive salary packages plus an Employee Share Option Plan (ESOP), so you don’t just work here — you own a part of what we’re building.

  • Do Your Best Work - We create space for real impact. You’ll have the autonomy to innovate, contribute ideas, and see your work shape the future of the business.

  • Real Career Growth - We’re a fast-growing company, which means genuine opportunities to step up, take on more responsibility, and grow your career as we scale.

  • A Great Team Culture - Work alongside talented, supportive teammates who value collaboration, initiative, and shared wins.

  • Regular Team Events - From team celebrations to social catch-ups, we make time to connect and enjoy the journey together.
