Position Overview: 

As the Head of the JAPAC Central Strategy & Operations team, your role features a mix of strategic planning, business analysis, sales optimization and business operations across the Digital Experience business. 

We’re looking for someone who is highly effective and efficient, with the ability to think strategically, but also able to get their hands dirty and “get it done”. Specific focus will be required in developing and executing Go-To-Market strategies, driving strategic business reviews, and working with the Field Operations teams within JAPAC. Based in either Sydney or Singapore, and reporting to the Senior Director of JAPAC Strategy & Operations, you will partner closely with JAPAC and Global leadership to make a big impact. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead JAPAC strategic and operational GTM planning, and drive excellence in execution to support growth. 

  • Provide recommendations on GTM plans, segmentation, sales coverage, resourcing prioritization that will improve the productivity of individuals as well as the overall team 

  • Operationalize and scale standardized planning methodology (including quota and compensation planning) across JAPAC.  

  • Drive rigorous pipeline management oversight, ensuring high visibility and predictability to forecasts and/or bookings. 

  • Manage and drive quality improvements to pipeline programs, which will optimize our ability to track and influence pipeline as it moves through the funnel. 

  • Closely monitor performance against GTM strategy and provide transparent and objective risk and opportunity assessments. 

  • Develop and manage strategic business reviews as well as broader ownership of the Run-the-Business (RTB) cadence and frameworks. 

  • Provide insights on business performance through detailed revenue and product analysis, including identifying areas of potential opportunities for growth. 

  • Identify operational and structural weakness and help improve existing or innovate new processes to keep the JAPAC team as efficient as possible. 

  • Partner with regional Sales Operations teams and provide input and guidance on best practices and methodology across JAPAC. 

  • Maintain strong relationships with worldwide stakeholders (at senior leadership levels) to evaluate effectiveness of programs, and impact of operational strategies, programs and improvements. 

  • Drive Center of Excellence methodology and frameworks for Renewals, Success, and change management (as required) 

  • Introduce external market lens to performance management reviews and assessment and sales play prioritisation (including Enablement feedback loop) 

 

Requirements: 

  • Minimum 10+ years of work experience in sales operations or related field. 

  • Experience leading a team, both direct and matrixed (dotted-line). 

  • Experience working in the JAPAC market. 

  • Ability to be successful working in highly matrixed organization 

  • Experience in direct and indirect sales structures and strategies 

  • Familiar with CRM tools and systems, especially SFDC, D365 and Power BI 

  • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical capabilities and collaboration skills. 

  • Excellent verbal, written communication skills, ability to present complex ideas to diverse audiences 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks concurrently 

  • Passionate about sales and developing excellent structures, processes and people 

  • Highly motivated individual with a results-driven orientation, capable of multi-tasking in a dynamic, rapidly growing organization 

  • Must have attention to detail, a commitment to quality and be results driven and customer focused.
