LawVu is transforming the legal industry by providing the world’s leading and most loved platform for in-house legal teams.

Our aim is to make the lives of in-house legal teams and their business partners more productive and fulfilling. We are well on the way with some of the world’s leading global brands and the best in-house legal teams already operating on LawVu.

We are looking for a Head of Product Marketing to join our core marketing team. As a Head of Product Marketing, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing our overall product and services marketing strategy. This includes the messaging, packaging, and sales enablement to support go-to-market strategy.

In addition, you will be responsible for the development of LawVu Engage, in tight collaboration with the product team. This will include market research and feature validation.

The ideal candidate will be a strong product or integrated marketer with experience working closely with both customers, sales, and product teams. This is a hands-on role that demands speed, top-quality work, a willingness to relentlessly prioritize, and the creativity to try new things.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deeply understand the in-house & legal operations landscape through qualitative and quantitative research on our customers, market, and competitors. Share regular findings with the exec, sales & marketing teams.
  • Contribute to the definition and development of new category messaging. Communicate this differentiation to allow us to compete and beat our competitors and other existing offerings in the market.
  • Differentiate customer value propositions based on customer profiles i.e. firmographics and personas.
  • Work directly with sales on improving our product positioning through pitch development, demo talk tracks and other sales collateral. This will include ongoing sales awareness and education of feature releases.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop relevant product positioning and prospect-facing content to support marketing foundations and growth campaigns.
  • Assist product leadership with roadmap development based on market input, competitive knowledge, and sales/client feedback.
  • Develop a consistent process for introducing new products, features & add-ons to our customers.
  • Manage our analyst program, keeping Gartner, IDC and others informed of new developments.
  • Maintain an externally facing roadmap
  • Leverage market, customer, and competitive knowledge to help shape pricing strategy.
  • Conduct the necessary customer validations, market research and message testing to help shape the LawVu Engage product roadmap.
  • Assist the CMO and broader exec team with annual planning.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of relevant B2B experience, including product marketing, marketing, product management, monetization, market research, operational roles, or strategy consulting
  • 2+ years of experience managing individual contributors

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in B2B SaaS with a focus in product marketing. Experience in business strategy, consulting, monetization, and/or go-to-market is also a plus.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit; able to drive projects from ideas through execution, build strong internal relationships, and build consensus and alignment on critical initiatives
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced and demanding environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing resources based on business impact
  • Persuasive communication and writing skills
  • Experience using customer, competitor, and market insights to shape business strategy, drive growth, and improve customer value
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well cross-functionally with both internally focused and customer-facing teams
