We have an opportunity for a National Account Manager to join Samsung Electronics Australia!

Role and Responsibilities

Sitting within the Mobile Experience division this role will be responsible for driving the growth of our product portfolio including smartphones, tablets, wearables and accessories across a customer account.

  • Relationship Leadership: Act as the primary point of contact for the account, building deep, long-term relationships with key buyers and category leads.
  • Joint Business Planning (JBP): Lead the development and execution of annual JBPs, aligning Samsung’s global goals with the specific strategic priorities of the retail partners.
  • Quarterly Business Planning (QBP): Conduct rigorous QBPs to track performance against KPIs, identifying growth opportunities and mitigating risks in real-time.
  • Promotional Strategy: Design and implement tailored promotional calendars for the account. Look for niche and strategic areas of growth including aligning sales promotions with channel specific strategic pillars
  • Flawless Launch Execution: Own the launch of new products within the accounts, coordinating ranging, pricing, display, and staff training plans to ensure Day 1 success.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Analyse weekly sell-out data and market trends to provide proactive recommendations to the Head of Sales.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Understanding of the retail market within Australia, preferably vendor/supplier management experience.
  • Proven track record of meeting / exceeding targets / expectations
  • Experience in sales, marketing or forecasting in previous roles preferred
  • Experience in operations and Supply Chain management (preferably in re-seller operating model)
  • Advanced use of Excel and Power point
  • Ability to work well in an extremely dynamic team environment

This role is based onsite 5 days per week at our office. While that structure keeps us connected, we do remain a flexible employer for life’s moments!

The nature of this role and level of responsibility may require reasonable additional hours over and above 37.5 hours per week and may also require work outside of ordinary hours.
