A Snapshot

As Project Manager reporting to our Senior Project Manager, you will work closely with our Development team, making an impact in a number of ways:

  • Project manage and lead all aspects of construction related activities for new builds and fit out projects, including ownership of the project scope, timeline and budget
  • Work with AirTrunk customers to develop scope and designs for the seamless implementation and execution of office and data hall fit outs
Your Day to Day
  • Manage customer and contractor access and collaborate with operations teams
  • Provide construction management for specific initiatives dedicated to growing the resiliency of our data centres
  • Review constructability of electrical and mechanical system designs associated with the construction of new data centres or the optimization of existing ones
  • Build project scope and equipment requirements and assist with proposals and capital requests
  • Be an authority within the group and within internal/external teams that support the data centre
  • Develop and review tender packages, including building scope of works, bid templates, tender evaluations, reviews and recommendations
  • Develop and provide cost reporting, including cash flows and cost to complete reports
  • Review and assist vendor claims, including payment claims, invoices, variations and time related claims
  • Project delivery; chair meetings, keep accurate records, ensure safety; monitor and status programmes, identify and manage quality, assist with handover to operations teams and provide project health reports.
Requirements
  • 7-9 years' construction management/delivery experience (in projects over 30,000 m2)
  • A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in mechanical/electrical/civil engineering; project management or architecture is a plus
  • Ideally, you have experience working for a data centre operator and/or fast track, large scale projects in a GC/consultant/developer capacity
  • Exceptionally flexible and forward-thinking as you have to be ready for a continuous change in direction
  • Results focused and a “get things done” approach
  • Prepared to travel across APAC as required
