What this opportunity involves:

The Guest Service Ambassador supports the day-to-day operation of the Welcome Reception desk as well as the end-to-end guest experience. The role is responsible for delivering first-class hospitality that ensures all guests, customers, and visitors feel genuinely welcomed and enjoy a seamless, comfortable experience at every visit. Working collaboratively with a wide range of internal business partners, the Guest Service Ambassador demonstrates a strong understanding of guest needs and consistently strives to exceed expectations, embodying Salesforce’s Ohana values.

Key Responsibilities include:

Guest Experience & Front-of-House Operations

  • Own the day-to-day execution of Guest Services operations.
  • Deliver exceptional front-of-house and reception services, creating a positive first impression for all visitors.
  • Proactively support event activities, guest registrations, and check-ins.
  • Assist event hosts to ensure a smooth and professional guest arrival experience.
  • Act as an in-person concierge, providing local area, office, and company event information.
  • Manage meeting room bookings and prioritise VIP engagements.

Event Support

  • Support the wider REWS team set up, break down and facilitate meetings and events.
  • Spot clean meeting rooms as required ensuring glassware is returned to kitchens.
  • Work with janitorial staff to ensure all meeting rooms and event spaces are maintained and kept clean.
  • Reset meeting room and event spaces to ensure they are ready for the next user.
  • Assist organising and ordering special event catering.

Systems, Processes & Compliance

  • Manage visitor pre-registration and check-in via the Traction Guest Management
  • System, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, Legal, and Security protocols.
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of Salesforce REWS ticketing and Basecamp systems, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure Guest Services processes and programs are delivered in line with Salesforce standards and SLAs.
  • Issue temporary access passes in accordance with security procedures and ensure vendor management processes are followed.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Build strong working relationships with on-site Security, Workplace Services, and other business partners.
  • Drive employee education and communication of guest services processes across the business as required.
  • Utilise multiple communication channels to respond to enquiries, including Slack.
  • Create and optimise Slack channels and workflows to improve team efficiency, converting enquiries into REWS tickets as required.

Workplace Presentation & Facilities Support

  • Ensure reception and front-of-house spaces are show-ready at all times.
  • Maintain a minimalist, uncluttered reception desk and immaculately presented waiting areas in line with global standards.
  • Maintain organisation and cleanliness of cloakrooms, deliveries, mailroom, and allocated storage spaces.
  • Manage mailroom operations and incoming deliveries, ensuring clear communication and high service standards.
  • Support ad hoc facilities or office services requests as directed by the Workplace Services Management Team.

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a corporate office environment.
  • Background in hospitality or retail is advantageous.
  • Strong customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced IT skills (Slack, Tableau, and Google Workspace preferred).
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service with strong listening skills.
  • Friendly, approachable, and willing to go the extra mile.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative team mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proven ability to multitask, manage projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
