In this role, you'll provide front desk reception and administrative support across the clinic — a varied position where your customer service and administrative skills will be put to use supporting our patients and the wider team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in patients, providing a warm and professional first point of contact
  • Manage phone and email enquiries, appointment bookings and scheduling
  • Handle patient administration, including Medicare, private health fund and billing processes
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Liaise with nursing, medical and administrative staff to support smooth clinic operations
  • Assist with general clinic administration and ad hoc support as required

Qualifications

We're looking for someone with front desk medical reception experience who can bring both efficiency and empathy to a fast-paced, patient-facing environment.

  • Previous experience in medical reception or a similar patient-facing healthcare admin role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine, caring approach to patients
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Confidence using practice management and Microsoft Office software
  • A team player who thrives in a busy clinic environment
