Support the Australian Conflicts team by performing conflict checks, opening matters, maintaining register entries, researching client ownership structures, managing information barriers globally, and assisting with intake projects and administrative tasks.

Provide legal advice on conflicts of interest, confidentiality and information barriers; manage securities trading approvals, sanctions and AML compliance; draft and review conflicts-related provisions and firm policies; liaise with partners and practice leads on new matters; deliver training and guidance on professional responsibility and risk issues.

Provide high-level administrative support to a senior Partner and team: manage complex diaries, correspondence, document production, client meetings, travel, billing and matter administration; monitor deadlines; coordinate across stakeholders and mentor junior staff while championing efficient tech and AI-enabled ways of working.

Manage and advise on conflicts of interest globally, liaise with partners and practice heads, ensure compliance with sanctions and AML obligations, and review and draft conflict provisions in engagement letters, policies and client agreements. Support firm strategy by assessing new instructions for professional obligations and commercial fit.

Provide competition, consumer law and regulatory advice across investigations, merger clearances, litigation and access/economic regulation. Supervise junior lawyers, manage client relationships, work to tight deadlines, and develop expertise in merger control and emerging technologies.

Advise on complex commercial litigation, with emphasis on regulatory and tax disputes. Manage client files, identify issues, provide solutions, develop client relationships, collaborate across offices, and support business development while learning from senior litigators.

Lead and advise on public and private M&A and cross-border transactions; draft and negotiate transaction documents; project-manage deals and coordinate global teams and advisers; build client relationships and support business development; mentor junior solicitors and contribute to team development.

Support Client Relationship Managers to implement growth strategies for key clients, coordinate account plans, manage client communications, assist bids and client-facing materials, compile client reports, and partner with internal marketing, communications and events teams.

Provide expert AML/CTF advice for new business intake, conduct detailed CDD and ownership/control analysis, assess onboarding and reputational risk, support regulatory obligations, liaise with practice groups and clients, and assist process improvements and operational projects.

Provide AML/CTF and sanctions advisory across Australia and Asia, maintain and govern financial crime policies, assess higher-risk clients and matters, perform risk assessments and gap analyses, support regulatory responses, and contribute to strategic initiatives improving financial crime risk management.
