Drive activation, retention and habitual use among teachers and students while coaching local leaders and translating market insights into scalable growth initiatives.

Leads engineering across Canva Print, setting technical strategy, guiding major technical decisions, developing engineering leaders, and building a high-performing culture. Owns hiring, performance management, roadmaps, and engineering contributions to commercial and revenue outcomes. Partners with Product, Design, Operations, and external partners while championing AI adoption and scalable e-commerce and print-on-demand experiences.

Design, develop, and deploy performant software for Canva’s editor, primarily using TypeScript with opportunities across React Native and native platforms. Drive measurable performance improvements through instrumentation and performance data, build frameworks and libraries for other engineers, solve complex architectural problems, and lead initiatives from concept through delivery. Collaborate with engineering, design, and product teams while sharing technical knowledge across the organization.
