Develop government-sector commercial opportunities for AP+ by building senior stakeholder relationships, engaging Treasury departments, shaping strategic pipelines, leading bids and proposals, and supporting feasibility assessments and business cases. The role aligns government priorities with AP+ strategy, payments initiatives, and public-value outcomes while coordinating internal and ecosystem stakeholders.

Assesses control effectiveness, identifies systemic issues and emerging risks, and translates findings into actionable insights. Partners with control owners to validate deficiencies and drive sustainable remediation. Monitors assurance plans, control effectiveness, and remediation progress while reporting control environment maturity to management and improving assurance practices.

Build and maintain secure, scalable batch and real-time data pipelines for payment and transaction data. Integrate APIs, databases, files, event streams, and third-party platforms; develop Snowflake data objects, tests, orchestration, monitoring, reconciliation, and recovery processes. Optimize platform performance, apply governance and security practices, troubleshoot issues, and provide rotational on-call support while partnering with analysts and stakeholders in Agile teams.

Operate and improve highly available AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure. Respond to complex cloud incidents, troubleshoot reliability and performance issues, build CI/CD pipelines, automate operational tasks, strengthen observability, and implement resilience through disaster recovery, configuration management, and controlled change. Collaborate with engineering, security, and service management teams to improve platform security, availability, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Operate and improve secure, reliable cloud and hybrid infrastructure supporting digital payments platforms. Responsibilities include provisioning, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, patching, backups, restorations, testing, decommissioning, automation, configuration management, storage administration, and controlled infrastructure change. The role collaborates with engineering and service teams to improve operational procedures, performance, security, resilience, and service reliability.

Manage and continuously improve the Business Continuity Management capability, including business impact analyses, dependency assessments, continuity and recovery plans, testing exercises, remediation, governance, assurance, metrics, and executive reporting. Advise business, technology, and risk stakeholders while integrating business continuity with incident, disaster recovery, and crisis management processes. Drive organisational resilience maturity and preparedness across a complex, regulated payments environment.

Leads AP+’s strategic partnership strategy, developing high-value relationships, prioritizing commercial opportunities, and negotiating significant proposals and contracts. Owns investment appraisals, business cases, success measures, benefits tracking, and partnership performance. The role also leads a high-performing team and aligns partnership, sales, and customer engagement activities to increase loyalty and long-term commercial value.

Responsible for day-to-day finance functions, including month-end journals and close, balance sheet reconciliations, statutory financial statements, external audit support, technical accounting, tax obligations, and government reporting compliance. The role applies Australian Accounting Standards, supports Treasury and compliance activities, and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to deliver accurate, timely financial information.

Manage compliance risk activities across AP+, including risk assessments, monitoring, reporting, regulatory change, obligations assessment, issue remediation, and policy implementation. Provide practical compliance advice, identify emerging risks through data analysis, support governance forums, and strengthen controls and continuous improvement. Build stakeholder relationships and translate regulatory requirements into actionable business practices.
