Lead technical design and hands-on development to migrate on-prem data warehouses to Azure Databricks. Build scalable ingestion, curation and transformation pipelines, own data modelling, ETL automation, DevOps, data quality, security and performance optimization. Manage and mentor onshore/offshore data engineering teams and collaborate with stakeholders to align data products with business priorities.

Manage and assess superannuation death benefit claims per fund rules, legislation and trustee discretion. Review beneficiary submissions, prepare trustee recommendations, communicate empathetically with claimants and legal representatives, maintain accurate records, manage risk and compliance, and use claims systems and workflow platforms to deliver timely, fair outcomes.

Investigate and resolve escalated life insurance complaints (including complex IDR/EDR), manage complaints to regulatory SLAs, prepare cases for independent review committees, and recommend resolutions to stakeholders.
