The role requires expertise in financial crime, assurance, risk management, Australian and New Zealand financial services regulations, and regulated fintech environments.

Own and enhance Wise’s AU/NZ financial crime compliance and risk management program. Design compliant-by-design product controls, assess financial crime risks, conduct regulatory gap analyses, drive remediation, and support product launches. Manage AML/CTF, sanctions, and fraud risks while balancing regulatory obligations with customer experience. Represent Wise in audits and regulatory inspections, collaborate with global Product, Engineering, Risk, and Compliance teams, and influence stakeholders through clear, data-driven recommendations.
