Responsibilities include conducting risk and control assessments, developing the enterprise control framework and library, identifying control gaps, executing control testing and assurance activities, and embedding risk practices in business and technology initiatives. The role requires influencing senior stakeholders and balancing commercial objectives with effective risk management.

Manage inbound and outbound sales pipelines for small-business lending solutions. Build trusted relationships, understand customer needs, recommend suitable funding options, handle objections, guide prospects through the sales process, maintain accurate records and compliance, and consistently achieve sales targets.

Manage month-end close, general ledger integrity, reconciliations, loan book accounting, payments, cash flow, audits, financial statements, regulatory reporting, and finance process improvements. Assess and underwrite commercial loan applications for small businesses. Analyze bank statements, financial statements, industry risks, and credit risks; present transactions and recommendations to Credit Committee; prepare detailed credit papers; and apply commercial judgment to lending decisions. The role also involves reviewing credit reports, ASIC searches, secured lending opportunities, and financial documents while collaborating with management, sales, and business owners.

The Sales Development Representative at Prospa focuses on outbound customer engagements, supporting inbound inquiries, and understanding business needs to drive performance metrics while fostering a collaborative team environment.
